February 14, 2017 is the date that marks 40 years since the opening of the first private gallery in postwar Poland – PN Gallery / Piotr Nowicki Gallery, which was located in Pavilion 5 at Nowy Świat 26 in Warsaw until the year 2000.
Presentation of Henryk Berlewi’s works is the last exhibition organized in the Piotr Nowicki Gallery at 9 Wierzbowa Street in Warsaw.
The exhibition is a farewell to the gallery, and also a thank you for all the years of the PN / Piotr Nowicki Gallery. We will be delighted to see you at this unique event!

Henry Berlewi (1894-1967) was a painter, graphic designer, typographer, theoretician and art critic. In his work there are both expressive threads and creations in the spirit of constructivism and suprematism. He was one of the most important representatives of the avant-garde geometrical abstraction in Poland, a member of the “Blok” group, an outstanding graphic designer and typographer.
