Polish Modern Art Foundation, founded in autumn 1985, is one of the first independent institutions, non-profit organizations working in the field of culture and art. Promotes and supports talented artists, whose activities contribute to the development of contemporary art. In addition, the Foundation also supports independent artists in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and conducts an exchange of artists from all over the world.

In 2012 Foundation opened Keret House, within which there is a program of artistic residencies.

In September 2016 Exhibitions Bureau was opened, a space for contemporary art, which was conceived and organized by the Foundation of Polish Modern Art.

From 2007 to 2017 the aTAK Gallery was operating as part of the Foundation. Since 2016, it has been located at Foksal 11/4 in Warsaw.

As part of its statutory activity Foundation organizes or co-organizes individual and group exhibitions both in Poland and abroad, as well as architectural and artistic workshops and projects addressed to a wide audience.

Local at Krakowskie Przedmieście 16/18 is used for cultural purposes by the Foundation of Polish Modern Art with the help of Śródmieście District of Warsaw.
